Puychéty
Horse Stud is actually expanding, and on its 40 hectares accomodates
about 40 horses, broodmares and foals, and since December 2009, to its
utmost pride, a stallion born in the farm, POWER DE PUYCHETY.
The Horse Stud also takes in private
owners broodmares.
The broodmares are totally taken care of : insemination at a specialized centre,
pregnancy following, and then foaling under supervision. The
foals
afterwards can be brought up and educated till their commercialization.
At Puychety Horse Stud pasture cultivation is becoming organic.
It means more work, but better food for the horses, less contamination
of the environment and better conservation of game. A great care is put
to the education of the young foal since his birth. Foals are manipulated since the begining to avoid further stress. Puychety Horse Sud defends a stressless approach to young horses till they go to work with their rider, who works with the same principles. The main idea is to maximize the potential of each horse, according to his physical potential and his personality.
